Note: This two-day class is eligible for 1 license renewal credit through the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners (BOEE) or 6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for youth-serving professionals. Course Description: Teen dating violence is a pervasive but often overlooked issue impacting youth in every community. This two-day class empowers educators and youth-serving professionals to recognize the warning signs, understand the root causes, and implement prevention strategies within schools and youth programs. Special attention will be given to the unique ways dating violence affects LGBTQ youth, and participants will leave prepared to foster healthy relationships among the young people they serve.

Transcripts
Please allow up to three weeks for transcripts to be processed following a course end date.  License renewal and paraeducator credit transcripts can be requested at https://www.safeschoolsacademy.org/transcripts following a course's completion.
