As students’ social lives increasingly take place online, harassment and harm can extend far beyond the school day. Educators are often left asking important questions: When is a school responsible for intervening? What does cyberbullying actually look like today? And what strategies work to prevent and respond to it?

In this interactive workshop, participants will explore the evolving landscape of digital conflict among students and learn practical strategies for supporting safer online environments.

Participants will learn:

• How cyberbullying shows up across common digital platforms

• How to distinguish cyberbullying from other types of online conflict

• When and how schools have a responsibility to intervene in off-campus behavior

• Prevention strategies that reduce harm before it escalates

• Response techniques that center student safety, accountability, and restorative practices

This workshop is designed for teachers, counselors, administrators, and school staff who want clearer guidance and actionable tools for navigating cyberbullying in today’s digital learning environments.

Participants will leave with practical frameworks and resources they can bring back to their schools immediately.

If you register but are then unable to attend it is your responsibility to formally withdraw your registration. Failure to notify us of your withdrawal may result in a No Pass (NP) on your transcripts and will require you to pay the standard course registration fee of $150.

Transcripts
Please allow up to three weeks for transcripts to be processed following a course end date.  License renewal and paraeducator credit transcripts can be requested at https://www.safeschoolsacademy.org/transcripts following a course's completion.
